GFRC Colors & Textures

GFRC is available in a wide variety of colors, textures and finishes. By using the red navigation buttons "next" and "prev" next to the color sample, you can view a limited number of approved GFRC face mixes. Multiple colors and textures can be combined on the same panel to provide a nearly unlimited range of expression and creative outlet.

For an even greater selection, the PCI Color & Texture Guide(Click icon to the right) serves up over 500 combinations of color, textures, and exposure. Many of these combinations can be matched for GFRC. However, please note that some finishes in the Guide (i.e., coarse aggregates) are not suitable for use with GFRC because of its thinner walls as compared to architectural precast.

In choosing colors, keep in mind that darker colors have several disadvantages when compared to lighter colors. On large surface areas, small differences in color from panel to panel are magnified with dark colors. Dark colors also tend to fade more over time than lighter colors, and show the effects of efflorescence more dramatically. Where vibrant, saturated colors are desired, we recommend that the GFRC panels be painted.

It is important to note that the colors seen on this website or on the PCI Guide will vary depending on your monitor settings, as well as by the specific settings for your color printer, should you print the results of your search. Samples of specific colors and textures should be obtained to ensure that the desired look can be satisfactorily matched.
